a Presbyterian minister, was born in Garrard County, Kentucky, in 1804. He was educated in the Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and studied theology in the Western Seminary at Allegheny, Pennsylvania. In 1838 he was licensed to preach, and engaged at Eaton and Alexandria; subsequently he was pastor of Lima, West Bethesda, and Union churches, in Ohio. He died March 17, 1859.
