a Presbyterian minister, was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia, November 28, 1794. He graduated at New Jersey College in 1826, and Princeton Theological Seminary in 1829; was ordained missionary in 1828; was first pastor at Delphi, Indiana, and then supply at Hopewell and Nayburn, also preaching at Graysville, until 1851.
