Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Baptist minister, was born in Maryland in 1739. In 1757 he moved to North Carolina, and was ordained in 1764; labored in that state thirty-four years, and then went to South Carolina, while he served his Master in the ministry till his death, the date of which does not appear.
