Elfleda
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(or AElbfled), abbess of Whitby (born A.D. 655, died at the age of fifty- nine), commemorated February 8, was daughter of Oswy, king of Northumbria, and a friend of St. Cuthbert.
