Elisimus

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

(Ε᾿λιάσιμος; Vulg. Liasumus), an Israelite of the "sons of Zamoth," who divorced his Gentile wife after the exile (1 Esdras 9:28); evidently the ELIASHIB (See ELIASHIB) (q.v.) of the Hebrews text (Ezra 10:27).
