(Ε᾿λμωδάμ ; perhaps for אִלְמוֹדָד, Almodad), son of Er and father of Cosam; one of the ancestors of Christ, in the private line of David. and great-grandfather of Maamfiah, the great-grandfather of Salathiel (Luke 3:28). B.C. cir. 700. He is not mentioned in the Old Test.
