Englert, Johann Matthaus

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran minister of Germaly, was born January 14, 1661, at Schweinfurt; studied at Giessen, Leipsic, and Wittenberg; was in 1687 called to his native place as teacher of the high-school; in 1709, accepted the appointment as deacon, and died in 1732, pastor primarius and inspector of the gymnasium.
