Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran hymn-writer of Germany, was born March 6, 1659, at Weimar, and died July 11, 1725. Some of his hymns are still in use in the German Church. They were edited by Schauer, Sol.
