Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a noted English Baptist minister, was born at Attleborough in January, 1773. He was early converted among the Congregationalists, baptized in 1793, ordained in 1800, was pastor at Hinckley until 1805, and thereafter at Manchester until his death, January 27, 1844.
