(Heb. with the art. hag-Giloni', הִגַּילֹנַי, in, Sept. ὁΓελωναῖος, 2 Samuel 15:12, or הִגַּלֹנַי, Sept. Γελωνίτης, 2 Samuel 23:34), an epithet of the traitor Ahithophel (q.v.), doubtless from his city GILOH SEE GILOH (q.v.).
