(Heb. Ginath', גַּינִת a garsdan [Gesen.] or protection [Fü rst]; 'Sept. Γινἠθ v.r. Γωνάθ ), the father of Tibni (q.v.), king of the northern tribes of Israel (1 Kings 16:21-22). B.C. ante 926.
