Girgasite

(Genesis 10:16). (See GIRGASHITE). Girl (יִלַדָּה, yaldah', fem. of
יֶלֶד, a boy), lit. one born, i.e., a female child (Joel 3:3; Zechariah 13:5), spoken of a marriageable " damsel" (Genesis 34:4). (See CHILD).
