Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an Italian member of the Camaldule order, was born in 1671 at Cremona. He studied at Rome, was professor at Florence, and Pisa, and died at the latter place, July 21, 1742, leaving Martyrologium Camarldulense: — Dissertationes Camaldulenses, etc. See Vita del Padre D.
