Guden, Heinrich Philipp

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born October 4, 1676. He studied at Helmstadt and Jena, was in 1700 pastor at Osterroda, took the degree as doctor of theology in 1720, was in 1722 pastor, general-superintendent, and professor at. Gottingen, and died April 27, 1742. He wrote, Manipulus Problematumn ad Theologiam Naturalera Pertinentium: De Bonifiacio Germanorum Apostolo (Helmstadt, 1720). See Winer, Handbuch der theol.
