He studied at Helmstadt and Jena, was in 1700 pastor at Osterroda, took the degree as doctor of theology in 1720, was in 1722 pastor, general-superintendent, and professor at. Gottingen, and died April 27, 1742. He wrote, Manipulus Problematumn ad Theologiam Naturalera Pertinentium: — De Bonifiacio Germanorum Apostolo (Helmstadt, 1720). See Winer, Handbuch der theol.
