a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born September 22, 1683. He studied at Leipsic, where he also lectured from 1709 to 1711. It was his intention to publish Kepler's manuscripts, which he had bought at Dantzic, but he only succeeded in publishing the first volume, as he could not get the support necessary for such an undertaking.
