an English divine, was born at Exeter, England, in 1753, and educated at Magdalen College, Oxford. He obtained the vicarage of Charles, Plymouth. which he held until his death in 1827, with the respect and love of his people. In doctrine he was a Calvinist, with a strong Antimomian tendency.
