Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

principal of Hertford College, is the author of Solomon's Song, translated from the Hebrew (Oxford, 1785, 4to), in which his chief design has been to give as literal a rendering of the original as possible. Also, The Proverbs o Solomon, translated from the Hebrew, with Notes (Oxford, 1788, 4to) Ecclesiastes, a new translation from the original Hebrew (Oxford, 1791, 4to).
