Internal Dignitaries
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
was the name by which, in the English Church, under the "old foundation," the dean, precentor, chancellor, and treasurer of cathedrals were known. See Walcott, Sac. Archaeol. p. 331.
