Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
[some Jac'sau] (Heb. Yaisav', יִעֲשִׂו; Sept. translates ἐποίησαν q. d. יִעֲשׂוּ, but the margin has Ya-ci. stay', יִעֲשִׂי, fabricator, otherwise for יִעֲשָׂיָה, made by Jehovah, and so Vulg. Jasi), an Israelite of the "sons" of Bani, who renounced his Gentile wife after the return from Babylon (Ezra 10:37). B.C. 459.
