Jameson, George
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an eminent Scotch portrait painter, was born at Aberdeen in 1586, and studied under Rubens and Vandyck. He died at Edinburgh, in 1644. The largest collection of his works are at Taymouth.
