Jewess
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Ι᾿ουδαία ), a woman of Hebrew birth, without distinction of tribe (Acts 16:1; Acts 24:24). It is applied in the former passage to Eunice, the mother of Timothy, who was unquestionably of Hebrew origin (comp. 2 Timothy 3:15), and in the latter to Drusilla, the wife of Felix and daughter of Herod Agrippa I. — Smith.
