a Scotch minister, was a native of Aberdeen, and flourished in the latter half of the 16th century. He was, like his relative Arthur Johnston (q.v.), of a poetical turn of mind, but he also served his Church (the Presbyterian) in the capacity of professor of divinity at St. Andrew's College. He died in 1612.
