Khatchid I

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

elected patriarch of Armenia in 972, is noted in the annals of the ecclesiastical history of Armenia for the interest he manifested toward literature and the fine arts, and for the establishment of a number of monasteries.
