Koinonia
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(κοινωνία ), the Greek word for communion, was one of the names by which the early Church referred to the Lord's Supper. See Riddle, Christian Antiquities, p. 542 sq. (See COMMUNION).
