(Γαδάν v. r. Λαλάν , and even Ἀσάν, Vulg. Dalarus), one of the Temple servants whose descendants had lost their pedigree after the exile (1 Esdras 5:37); evidently the DELAIAH (See DELAIAH) (q.v.) of the Hebrew text (Ezra 2:60).
