Manning, John H., D.D.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a minister of the Reformed (Dutch) Church, graduated from Rutgers College in 1844, and New Brunswick Seminary in 1847; was licensed by the Classis of New Brunswick the same year; was pastor at Spotswood from 1847 to 1854; South Brooklyn from 1854 to 1873, and thereafter remained without a charge until his death, October 25, 1878.
