an English clergyman, was born at Orlingburg, Northamptonshire, in 1721; was educated at Queen's College, Cambridge, of which he became fellow in 1741; became prebend of Lincoln in 1760; in 1763, vicar of Godalming, Surrey; in 1769, rector of Pepperharrow, and died in 1807.
