Marietiu
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a celebrated Hindu sage or demi-god, was, according to one account, the son of Brahma-according to another, the son of Bhrigu. He was the father of Kasyapa. By some he is considered as the god of "light," which appears to be the etymological signification of his name.
