a Presbyterian minister, was born in Pennsylvania in 1806. He graduated from Jefferson College, and entered upon his ministry at Bethel in 1832, in which relation he continued until his death, April 30,1872. Dr. Marshall was well known in western Pennsylvania as one of the leaders of the Presbyterian Church.
