Matred
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb. Matred', מִטְרֵד , propelling; Sept. Ματραϊ v θ, Ματράθ), the daughter of Mezahab and mother of Mehetabel, which last was wife of one of the Edomitish kings (Genesis 36:39; 1 Chronicles 1:50). B.C. prob. ante 1619.
