(Hebrews Merayah', מְרָיוֹת, resistance; Sept. Ἀμαρία v. r. Μαρέα; Vulg. Maraja), a chief priest, the "son" of Seraiah, contemporary with the high-priest Joiakim (Nehemiah 12:12). BC. post 536.
