( צָהֵל tsahal', prop. to be clear or bright; hence to emit a sharp sound, as of a shout, so often; spoken of the neighing of a horse [Jeremiah 8:16; Jeremiah 13:27; Jeremiah 1, 5, 8] and the bellowing of a bull [Jeremiah 1, 11]; but in both cases as indicative of lustful desire).
