Paedothysia
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Gr. παῖς, παιδός , a child, and θυσία, a sacrifice) is a term used among the ancients to denote the sacrifice of children to the gods. (See SACRIFICE).
