Pasiphae
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a goddess worshipped among the ancient Greeks at Thalamae, in Laconia. She was believed to give supernatural revelations or oracular responses in dreams to those who slept in her temple.
