Rogers, Timothy (2),

a Dissenting minister, was born at Barnard Castle, Durham, England, about 1660. He was educated at one of the Scotch universities, became evening lecturer at a chapel in Crosby Square, London, and afterwards one of the ministers of a Dissenting congregation in Old Jewry, which office he resigned in 1707. He died in 1729. Among his works we notice, Practical Discourses (Lond. 1690, 8vo): Discourse concerning Trouble of Mind and the Disease of Melancholy (ibid. 1691).
