Sechenias
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Σεχενίας Εἰεχονίας ), Apocryphal forms of the Heb. name SHECHANIAH (q.v.); namely,
(a) the father of Lettus (1 Esdras 8:29), or rather of one whose name has dropped out of the text (Ezra 8:3);
(b) the "son" of Jezeluo (1 Esdras 8:32) or Jaha-ziel (Ezra 8:5).
