[some Shelo'moth] (Heb. Shelomoth', שְׁלֹמוֹת, peaceful [strictly a plur. fen. of, שָׁלוֹ, peace]; Sept. Σαλωμώθ ), one of the descendants of Izhar.the grandson of Levi (1 Chronicles 24:22-23); elsewhere (23:18) called SHELOMITH (See SHELOMITH) (q.v.).
