a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born in Turin, Lewis Co., N.Y., July 8, 1804, and at the age of eighteen he made a profession of religion. In 1830 he was licensed to preach, and was admitted into the Black River Conference. He continued to be actively engaged in preaching until his death, which occurred at Malone, N.Y., May 25, 1863.
