(Heb. id. שִֹׁהִ ם , onyx, as in Genesis 2:12; Sept. Σσάμ v.r. Ισοάμ ), second name of the four sons of the Merarite Levite Jaaziah, who were employed about the ark by David (1 Chronicles 24:27). B.C. 1043.
