a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born at Berlin, Somerset Co., Pa., about 1808, and converted at Masontown, Pa., in his twentieth year. He was received into the Illinois Conference in 1837, and was effective until 1870. From that time he was on the supernumerary and superannuated: lists until his death. in Jacksonville, Ill., Sept. 1, 1876.
