Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb. Sokoh', שׂכֹה, i.q. Socho and Socoh; Sept. Σωχώ v.r. Σωχλώ;: Vulg. Socho), a town in Solomon's commissariat assigned to Hepher (1 Kings 4:10); probably the same as the SOCOH (See SOCOH) (q.v.) in the lowland of Judah (Joshua 15:35).
