Solitarii
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a branch of the MANICHAEANS (q.v.). While the Theodosian Code decreed capital punishment upon some of the other branches of this obnoxious sect, the Solitarii were only punished with contiscation.
