a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born at Moretown, Vt., in 1802, and joined the New England Conference in 1823. He served in the capacity of an itinerant preacher, a presiding elder, and a missionary to South America. He was once a member of the General Conference. He sustained a superannuated relation to the New Hampshire Conference for several years before his death, which took place in his native town in 1865.
