Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church, was born at Ipswich, Mass., Nov. 4, 1773, and removed to New Hampshire, and subsequently to Middlebury, Wyoming Co., N.Y. In 1818 he was received into the Genesee Conference, but located about 1835. He settled at Liberty, Steuben Co., N. Y., and after a residence of seventeen years he removed to Thurston in the same county, where he lived until his death, Dec 15, 1864.
