United Secession Church, the
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
was formed in Scotland in 1820 by a reunion of the Associate (or Burghers) and the General Associate (or Antiburghers) Synod. In 1847 it was united to the present United Presbyterian Church.
