a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, was born in Montgomery County, Ala., Sept. 15, 1841. He experienced religion when about nine years old, moved with his parents to Florida in 1852, joined the Florida Conference in 1860, and labored in it faithfully until his death, Aug. 19, 1864.
