Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born on Long Island, N.Y., about 1758. He joined the Methodist society in 1785, at Serington, and soon afterwards began preaching, which he continued, with the approval of the Church, until his death, at White Plains, N.
