a Congregational minister, was born in Boston, Mass., Feb. 5, 1801. He graduated at Dartmouth College in 1828, and at Andover Theological Seminary in 1831. He preached for several churches in Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts, from 1832 to 1852.
