Wama

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

(or Vama), in Hind mythology, was the wife of king Aswarena, who sprang from the holy family of Ikswaka. She gave birth, by her husband, to Parswa, who became so renowned for his piety that he was made one of the twenty-three elders of Buddha.
