Abumai
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
Gaon in Sura from 811 to 819; brother of Rabbi Mordecai. He appears to have been the father of the gaon of Sura, Cohen-Ẓedeḳ, who is renowned for his many ritual and judicial decisions. See Geonim.
